Caro Ruggero, sei partito da Pont in Valsavaranche, se non sbaglio, fino al Vittorio Emanuele e da lì sul ghiacciaio. Le tue fotografie hanno rinverdito i miei ricordi, io sono stato per due anni in vacanza a Pont in Valsavaranche e per due anni sono salito in vetta. Ma il ghiacciaio ormai si e sciolto. Ma sai che quando salivo io c'era neve appena sopra il rifugio ed un anno c'era neve anche intorno al rifugio. Le tue fotografie sono bellissime il tuo marchio, come dice Maurizio è veramente evidente: Grazie di questi bei ricordi. Un abbraccio, Renato.

Hello Ruggero! What a scenic and grand hike! It is always invigorating to set a goal as pretty and exciting as the Gran Paradiso. The scenery is stark, yet appealing. The final goal is, of course, very awe inspiring. It is a beautiful 'hanging glacier'. But, I despair how long these wonderful creations of Nature will last. It takes centuries for Nature to create it, and, yet, global warming destroys it in 50 years. I hope our children will have an opportunity to see glaciers such as these or the ones I saw in Alaska, in all its grandeur. Thank you for sharing this exciting hike through your beautiful pictures. Vedo che il nostro "Signore delle Montagne" ha ripreso le sue incredibili camminate tra le vette alpine, regalandoci panorami talmente belli che tolgono il fiato ...
