Album Description:

In August 2007 I made a long car tour around the North American West, including a flight and a cruise to Hawaii. This album is a selection of pics of the 3rd part of this tour, from Hawaii to Washington, Oregon and back to California.

    • Ciao Roberto, I am just finding this album for the first time today. I have never been to Hawaii, and have told all my firends that I have to finish visiting ALL of Italy before I will consider going to Hawaii. The photos are exceptional with the snorkeling pics some of my favorites. The Oregon coast and California coast I last visited in 2000 and recognize many of those locations.     • Hi Roberto, This album is a great rounding off of your trip through the USA. Hawaii is wonderful above and under water. Shots from the heli as well below the watersurface, this album has it all. Magnificent nature scenes and on the other side very modern skyscrapers, Hawaii has many faces. I enjoyed it very much. It must have been great to sail on the Pride of Hawaii to the islands. I only missed the typical Hawaiian girls with the silk island lei around the neck, you know what I mean no doubt. Maybe this touristic phenomenon is something from the past now.... Greetings, Tjebbe

    • Roberto, I had a wonderful time joining you for the 3rd part of your travel in America. You told me that you regret that you did not have a digital camera when you visited Iceland, I regret that I did not have any camera with me when I visited Hawaii and Seattle. The best were mainly the chopper scenes as well as those from the Pride of Hawaii and the rest were just magnificient.     • I have never been to Hawaii, but my husband has. He was there during the Korean War when he was in the Navy, and he enjoyed looking at your album with me. But the Oregan coast is very familiar to me. Bonnie and I made a trip there a long, long time ago. We drove up the coast road, back and forth between the expressway. It was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoyed your tour of the Western part of the U. S. Maybe next year you might get to see the rest of our country. Each area has it's own specific beauty.
