Hi Ran, I see you've just visited one of my favorite places--Orta San Giulio. We spent several nights there about five years ago, and we stayed at the Albergo Orta right on the lake with a window view over the Isola San Giulio. My inlaws were there about a week before you! Ran, this is a very well captured album of pictures of the small towns bordering the Lago D'Orta. The towns seem to seamlessly combine old world charm with moderneity. Many buildings exhibit strong Mediterranean influence, and, yet, they come through with a mingling of new architecture. They all have one thing in common: they are all charming and beautiful. Hi Ran! I do fully agree with you about the magic of Orta and its Lake! Last year I have spent some months living and working in Gravellona, in the land strip between Lago Maggiore and Lago d'Orta. I used to visit Orta very frequently and, particularly during the low Tourist season, its atmosphere is really unique! Thank you for letting us view it through your eyes! Roberto
