  • Jacques; what craftsmanship of photography to capture such fine images in such difficult conditions of low light and dark greens! And your ability to find a choice view, and compose a shot - is very impressive - especially in those weather conditions (at that time) out there on the Olympic Peninsula! Thank you for another splendid tour... your albums are treasures of photgraphy, beauty, geography, exploration, and education!!! Love that word "lugubrious" ! Can't remember when the last time I heard it. It really made me laugh in regards to your use of it for a description! It is a fair description - for those conditions :) Thank you for the pleasure of all your work creating this impressive album tour here!!! I will come back for further enjoyment(s)! Gary in Seattle

  • Jacques, encore un album sensationnel. C'est un grand plaisir que de lancer le diaporama et de se laisser bercer par la succession des images. C'est presqu'une histoire qui est racontee. Tu as beaucoup de talent et moi la chance de te connaitre . Bien amicalement. Ange

  • What a beautiful album! I was awed by the driftwood pictures...then the trees! They are SO unique. Then you move on to the mountains. This album is filled with the wonders of nature. Thanks for sharing.

  • Magnificent woods with gnarled tree trunks, convoluted driftwood define the character of the album. The first set of pictures of the trees reminded me of the forests in the 'Lord of the Rings' movie, where elves live. The seashore is rugged and primordial. The whole album transports me to an era of prehuman topography. Excellent representation of the ambience. Great work full of impressive pictures, Jacques! Best wishes, Suresh

Had a very nice slideshow and thought many times during the show, this wood be my trip too, if I had the time and the many to spend just now. TOday more anxious to take photos here in Portugal, live my life holdheartedly with these frienly nice people. Make some new books of these surroundings for my family and friends there. Warm greetings from Nazare,Portugal, for the both of you. Have a nice weekend, Antti the Finn
