Album Description:
Almost all of these photos are new and they stem from a holiday in October 2007 when we covered the stretch of coast from Bremer Bay to beyond Esperance in the far south of our state. All of these photos will benefit immensely from being viewed full size.

Hello Peter, can't leave a message for you, anywhere but here, by the look of it! Here goes! Thanks for your comments about my amateur shots! I've left a message in my Album containing the beach photos, taken so long ago, I really can't remember, but here is a listing of our beaches from Cape Hillsborough, near Seaforth, which is up the coast, down to around Sarina, which is down the coast! Hello everyone! We have many beaches which are relatively close to, or actually at, Mackay, Central/North Queensland. Starting up at Cape Hillsborough National Park, not far from Seaforth,, Halliday Bay and Ball Bay,(a perfect day trip), you go down the Coast to Bucasia;Eimeo Beaches;Dolphin Heads;Blacks Beach;Slade Point;Lamberts Beach;Harbour Beach (at, of course, Mackay Harbour), then continuing down the Coast we have Town Beach;Far Beach; then down to Louisa Creek Beach, Hay Point(CoalFacility);HalfT ide;Salonika;Grasstree;Sa rina Beaches, then Armstrongs Beach. So you see, we are not spoilt for beaches around here! I just thought I'd better clear up my silly mistakes about North and South, with which I had labeled a couple of my shots! Sorry. Cheers, Margaret downunder. (Now residing 176kms by winding roads, over a couple of mountains, WSW of Mackay, where we don't even have a decent creek full of water, most of the time!) Cheers from Margaret downunder.

Peter, What a wonderful trip you took your family on. The beaches are all beautiful - the various shades of blue and green of the water, and the whales - what an added bonus. Fantastic album. Awesome slide show in full screen. Thanks for sharing. Carol

Dear Peter, Well thanks so much for warming me up viewing these lovely beaches Its another grey autumnal day here and we could do with some of your warm sunshine. It looks like you have taken your visitors to visit some fantastic locations and found a few new ones for you too which must be great. Really enjoyed the album and it would have been a great highlight I'm sure seeing those whales. Take acre now. Love and Hugs, Jill
