  • Hey Stranger! Thanks for the invite to this beautiful album. Been absent from w/s for a few months and very slowly catching up with people and messages. You must have been thrilled to death being able to see the whales at play when visiting this special place! Amazed how well you were able to zoom in on that fluke. Do you have a macro attachment? If there's only two things a bit dissappointing about the DSC-R1, that would be the zoom and the nightshots! Cheers mate, hope you're enjoying your summer. Marita

  • Hi Peter! I spent ages going through this and adding names as you requested -- hope it helps! Did the best I could without actually seeing the plants in reality. You might like to go to the Library and get a "Guide to the Wildflowers of Western Australia" which is a Simon Nevill Publication ISBN 0-9756019-1-1. It has a section on Wildflowers of that area. Seems as though you had a good trip and lovely weather. Hope you have time to see my albums at:- http://imageevent.com/gladysclancy and my Fitzgerald albums are in the EcoTours Folder. Best wishes to both you and Betty.. Gladys, Western Australia.

  • Dear Peter, what a grand album this is! I'm happy I came to thank you for your comment on my Pioneer Day album or I might have missed it. We saw one Whale in Alaska and so longed to see more, but it wasn't the right time of year when we were there. I'm happy to see you and Betty got away for a short spell! Be well, my friends, Judy

  • Hello Peter! This is a very engaging album of different scenery, lovely, wild flowers, beutiful beaches. And, not a soul in sight!! This is my kind of place. I could almost hear the silence and feel the solitude. I hope you did not lose your way! I see only one raod, so, I guess, that was very unlikely. Take care. Best wishes, Suresh
