I do believe it's actually 10,781 ft at the summit. Located roughly 30 miles east of Bellingham and 15 miles south of the Canadian border, I grew up always seeing this Beautiful mountain!! No comments!! I'm astonished!! A lovely album of a trip into the forest and glades of Washington state, with thoughtful & informative commentary. Brilliant atmospheric mountain & Volcano shots and amazing river images leading to an "I am there" feeling; one can almost hear the river as it winds its way through the scenery. A sense of history is also given, placed within some of the shots. Altogether a nicely put together album, and I saved three pics for my desktop. Well done, Myrna.
