Wonderful pictures of an area where I have not visited yet. Even the areas I know, Fortaleza, the beach etc, are always a pleasure to see and your pictures of those areas are also great. I, as a native of the Algarve, (near Faro) am very proud and lucky of being borne there. Although I have emigrated to the United States 28 years ago, I continue to visit there once every year, but am always looking for surprises and places that I don't know anymore. I was in Largo 23 years ago. It was the honey moon of my first marriage. Oh my god - that's already a long time ago. Unbelievable. But anyhow, back then there was a tiny restaurant called "mondo de chau" (Dog's paradise) there, close to the beach, where I had the best mussels ever. I still remember them. Just by chance Gerd, did you see it? I know it's an almost crazy question. But asking can't hurt I thought. Thanks for sharing your great pictures with us Klaus
