Album Description:

Most of these cacti were photographed at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. I am dedicating this album to Nada (HopeNada) who loves all those prickly plants, and whose hospitality during my visit to Sydney was THE BEST :-).

  • Hi Haig! Thankyou for telling me about this wonderful album, I've just spent ages marvelling at these awesome cacti forms and I wish that Phoenix was not so far away.. Truly the best cacti album I have seen and a real masterpiece with stunning photography, and great presentation including interesting captions. Can't attempt to pick favourites, I enjoyed each and every one! Thankyou for your messages in my albums and hopefully my photos will encourage you to visit other parts of Australia. Yes, I love Alpacas, they have such sweet faces, and would like one for a pet if only I had the space and the money! Thankyou for sharing this enjoyable album.. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia..

  • Hi Haig, you've created an impressive album of amazing photos here. The range and variety of cacti is truely amazing. In different light and from different angles, the photographic possabilities must be endless. Your dedication to the wonderful lady, Nada, is most thoughtful. Best wishes from Keith.

  • Thank you Haig. You did catch my favorite plants. What a lovely idea to go get them and make those nice captions, also great shots. The one you call barrel - they call in Australia Mother in law cushion - are they not beautfiful - what a shame to bloom only 24 hours - Once again thank you to go with your selective eye, camera a your free time to give us all such a pleasure - especially to me.Thank you. come soon to Sydney again - promise new cacti
