The restoration of the Overton Park Shell has begun. What you see is that everything has been removed from the wings. THe ground in front will be converted into grass for blanket or lawn chair seating. The Shell will be renovated and new wings constructed

  • Mike, thanks for sharing these photos. My husband and I had a chance to tour backstage with the architect and the creative arts director this summer.They explained how the lights would be used to create the background. Nice to see it before next summer.

  • I am glad to see the area will be used for entertainment again but I am also happy I visited the site before the renovations. I have a few photos in my webshots of my husband and I in 2006 or 2005 not sure without going back to photos.
