Dear Jacques, this is a splendid album in praise of the church and all it represents. Though born a Hindu, you know, I have great respect for all religions in the world. In final analysis they all say the same things in different words. Your album is a spectacular compendium of the Byzantine and the Greek orthodox treasures. The interiors, the icons and the architecture had me spell bound for a whole hour. This is a great album and I hope this is featured soon. I was wondering why you did not send me an invite. Jacques, what can I say... you have captured almost everything that I would have missed on such a trip. I wouldn't know where to go! But you have captured the very elements that touches the soul. You have a great collection of iconographs from famous artists, beautiful architecture and some most beautiful views such as photos # 101 and 102 and so on and so on... Jacques, this is a marvelous album of the Byzantine and Venetian wonders of a land that is very foreign to me. I appreciate the architecture and the art, but I always wonder how many hungry children could be fed with all the ornate trimmings. As I wrote, it is probably because I'm not accustomed to it.
