I spent 3 weeks in Cork, Ireland in Dec'07 (for business). The Irish weather isn't that great, during this time (rain almost every day)...between the rain and mostly cloudy skies, I made a few visits to towns and locations. This is the 1st album of phot

    • Hello, I was ecstatic when I came across your album. I have been reading the History regarding William Marshall and his wife, Isabella de Grace, Countess of Leinster upon her return to Kilkenny Castle in 1207. I was wondering if the picture #30 is the Coat of Arms etched in stone are those of Dermont MacMurrough, her grandfather, (Sorry, I'm rambling now). Ha! Ha! Being a New Englander here in States, unfortunately for me looks like I'll never see in person. Especially being 1/2 Irish. So through your photo's I get to travel there. Thank you for sharing..

    • You did well Rob to get this in on a work trip & given December weather. I must look this area up as we are due in Cobh for a day in the summer (+ a few other Irish ports). Many thanks for your comment on my Straw Bear festival, yes there were plenty of pints consumed. The dance teams all have helpers who cart the tankards round from pub to pub as the dancers move round. This year they were lucky to get a fine sunny day. Take care. Eric
