Dear Yair, I want to thank you for these albums of Jerusalem. They help me to understand the make-up of Jerusalem. I didn't realize there were 4 quarters. The photos are amazing. I love all the vibrant colours. I join with you in hoping for world peace. It would be wonderful if the different sections could live in harmony. Best wishes, Judith.

Thank you so much also for speaking out so passionately on my "I have a dream album"..The matter is very important to me. I have responded to your comment about having no friends from Israel in my group photo of friends in Singapore in the posting section. You are correct, but it is more of a co-incidence than intentional. Out of 4 Million people there are only about 300 Jewish People, don't know how many of them from Israel. So the likelyhood of meeting a person from Israel there is very small, unless it is Yair the tourist :D, LOL! Did you visit the Synagogue while you were in Singapore? ..you probably didn't have enough time...I tried to go there once but it is heavily fenced in and inaccessible...

Yair you've done a marvelous job in this album, being our tourguide through the Armenian and Christian quarters. Your captions are excellent and really help us understand what your pictures alone could not tell us. A wonderful dedication to Judy! have a great day Marita.

Dear Yair: this is not simply a wonderful and most interesting album as it would have been presented by a "serious tourist", but one piece more for a profound knowledge of the history of your country. In a way a chapter of a book to be created - and for which so many parts you have already "finished"! Thank you for taking (quite a lot of!) time to prepare this album! Best wishes: Kaethi and Henri

Yair! What a treat this album is! Jerusalem is so full of history, traditions and architectural splendour that it is almost impossible to soak it all in. However, it is always so instructive and appealing to walk with you. After the 'In the footsteps of Jesus' album, this is a fabulous sequel. There are a lot of treasures in the churches in Jerusalem. I am glad I had an opportunity to view them through your pictures. Thank you, too, for all the informative captions. Best wishes, Suresh

Yair, This is a wonderful album and the timing is perfect for us Christians - the holy season of Lent...a time that we ponder the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know that His resurrection and Easter follows this sorrowful time just as we know that a glorious heaven awaits us for eternity following our time here on earth. Thank you for devoting your time to photographing these places for us and for the in-depth information that you provide. As always, you have done a superb job with both. Carol

I'm back with one more after already filling up your Inbox! I'm wondering, Yair, if there is a 'wait list' of people wanting to move into the Old City. I would think the residences would be highly desirable. ... I thank you again for your birthday dedication to me; I am honored! ... Judy

Dear Yair, this is the first time I've had a chance to check WS since Wednesday, Feb. 6th, so it is overwhelming to find your album of this most wonderful and meaningful place in the world, dedicated to me. ... Yesterday, Feb. 7th, was my 70th birthday, as you must have known. From the time I went to work at the church office, until the time I went to bed, my family and friends, made the day a delightful one and now I find you also added to that. ... Webshots has been extremely slow again and I've just learned of the "mess" over the sunrise challenge, so the same old enthusiasm has waned. ... Thank you, Yair, and I will enjoy going through this new album. ... Judy

Yair, I visited so far about half of your new album. It is another interesting and well captioned album, but nothing can be expected less from you. I'm very happy to see familiar painting styles since I'm an Orthodox myself and our churches look similar to the one I've seen so far in your album. I'll be back soon to continue my visit, WS is extremely slow right now. Good luck with your new album. Maria

Yair: I was just reading all the wonderful comments on your album "In the Footsteps of Jesus..." and here you've created yet another outstanding album! You're "spoiling" us (LOL) with your exceptional photography! You've set the standard for excellence that few (if any) can match! Will return when I have more time. Shabbat shalom! ~Miriam
