Hi Cowgirl I actually went here last November an incredible place, I very rarely come to webshots anymore as I have been having lots of changes and family stuff going on and hope to get settled soon. I have left Sydney by home for over 50 years as I got transferred to Melbourne in Victoria and have been here for a month and haven't picked up my camera yet to busy at work. WE came down in January to look for somewhere to live and went to Bruno's Garden in Marysville , two weeks later the whole town got burnt out with the most horrific bush fires this country has ever seen. All that is left of Bruno's garden is burnt bush and he and his family only escaped with their lifes and have still not been able to return to his place. In all over 210 people have been killed and they expect this number to rise. We acutally moved down on that terrible Saturday and they sky was just covered with smoke.

Your comments are a balsam for the soul, my laugh muscles and cheekbones still hurt, my wife thinks there is something wrong with my face and I cannot deny that (I mean at this moment, hahaha)! Hi Marita - Thanks for the welcome "great big yeeeahwww from Texas." I love these Las Vegas photos, but I recognize very few of them. I lived in Las Vegas for over 5 years from November 1977 until January 1985, while I was stationed at Nellis AFB. In fact, I am a Runnin’ Rebel as I graduated from UNLV in May 1984 with a BA in French. We lived on Karen Court off Paradise Road near the Sahara. From our living room widow we could see the Sahara and from our back bedrooms we could see the Las Vegas Hilton. I was a wonderful life and Las Vegas had a population of around 300,000. Dearest Marita I have read in one of you comments about someone that is stealing pictures once again. Can you tell me who this is ? This is so distressing and I just want to know who and what to look out for. His comment to you was also totaly unreal , the cheak of it is leaving me speechless. Dear Marita, how come I missed this album? Those crispy colors, bright lights and perfect exposures in the twilight make it an absolutely beautiful one. Vegas is quite something for a photographer! I freaked out 5 years ago, when I was there, just by looking at all those casino hotels and city lights - but I hardly gambled at all (just a few minutes to loose 10$). By now, many new attractions have been added, and it's about time for me to go there again.... hopefully one day! Best regards and thanks for sharing! Mike

Buona sera cara Marita, habe mich total amuesiert in den letzten Stunden mit Dir in Las Vegas. So viel Glitzer und Glamour. So viele gueldene Pracht. Brauche unbedingt eine ganze Nacht, um all diese herrlichen Bilder in meinem Kopf zu verarbeiten. Bestimmt traeume ich von Pferdenixen, Campaniles, Seufzerbruecken, Leuchtreklamen, Casinos, Eiffeltuerme, Prachtskuppeln und all der Dinge mehr!!! Hi Marita, I have viewed the album not so long ago and had another slide show of your album just to make sure I have not missed anything. Your photographic talents seem to improve by the album, well done and bravo! This album is of a class of its own beyond any reproach! I am on the mend here and the last X-ray shows that the lung is clear of pneumonia. I am using a puffer twice a day and I am driving for local errands.
