I really like this album - revisited because we might be going up next week for a color tour, etc. Don't even know if the boats run to the island this time of year. Will let you know how it went. Hope you are doing well, DeeAnne :)

Hi Gail. What a truly delightful place to visit. I have soooo enjoyed taking this tour with you. Did you stay in the Grand Hotel? It looks soooo fabulous. The views which it has must be spectacular. No cars eh, bet it was like stepping back in time. The slower pace life style and bicycle riding would suit me a treat. Hi Gail, This beautiful album sure brings back memories. Your photos are spectacular!! A few years back my husband and I and another couple rented tandem bikes with plans to ride around the island. As we rode our bikes through the forest our good friend told us the story of an axe murder that happened near the very spot we were riding. He also informed us that the murderer was never found. It didn't take long for us gals to decide we wanted to get back to town and civilization. LOL I never did find out if the story was true or if he fabricated the story because he was tired of pedaling his bike. Hope you are enjoying this wonderful Michigan Spring!! - DeeAnne :)
