  • This powerful architectonic complex dates back to the 10th century and it is strongly highlighted by the City Hall’s structure that was built around the Abbey. The Abbey was built by the St. Colombano Monks of Bobbio and after it was restored in 1244 it was named after St. Andrea. Throughout the centuries it underwent various transformations and expansions such as the building of a Baroque chapel, the raising of the central nave, and in 1835 a window was added to the facade
