Hi Tjebbe, what a great colorful and happy spring scenes captured Castle your gardens! Yes, I agree with you - that this is SPRING! It is hard to believe that you already enjoying the blossoming spring and we still are covered by snow in the early morning hours! Thank you for visiting "surprising spring in Calgary". Hello Tjebbe. What lovely springlike weather you had for your visit to Castle Arcen. I am surprise they call it a castle, it looks more like a Stately Home or Manor House to me. The gardens are wonderful. I can imagine how enjoyable it must have been to be there with your camera. Your captures are as excellent as ever. Guten Morgen Tjebbe: danke für diesen in teressanten Rundgang durch diesen prächtigen Oet, von dessen Existenz "Normalbürger" natürlich keine Ahnung hatten. Ist diese wunderschöne Anlage staatlich, oder noch (halb-)privat? - Vielen Dank hier auch für Deine lieben Eintragungen in unser letztes Pyrenën-Album (ein weiteres -Churches 9th to 14th century) wird gelegentlich folgen, aber schwierig wegen der nötigen Kommentare), wie auch zum vorgängigen St.-Jean-de-Luz album wie auch zu Challenge-Bildern. -Ja, "walk through the Pyrenees" lohnt sich, weil mancherorts doch noch "echt", nicht überall von Touristen überlaufen. - Herzliche Grüsse!

Hallo Tjebbe, die tuin in Arcen, wat is die gegroeid! We zijn er eenmaal direct na de opening geweest, misschien wel vijftien jaar geleden. Voor die tijd ook al, omdat ik de voorlichting zou gaan doen, maar ik zag er toen helemaal niks in, en ben ik (gelukkig) gewoon bij de krant gebleven. Oorspronkelijk zou het trouwens alleen maar een showtuin van de Lottumse rozenkwekers worden.

Hello Dutch Boy! I am soooo happy I stopped by to go on this visit of the beautiful castle with you (and speedy?). It looks like spring was slowly coming to Holland this year? I just returned from my over 2 month visit to Germany recently and got to witness a beautiful spring emerging there..hopefully within the next year or two, LOL, i'll get the time to post some photos from there just as beautiful as yours.
