Album Description:
Australia has more than its fair share of spiders. This album is dedicated to some of the spiders who inhabit my garden, and at times come inside for a cup of tea and some serious conversation. While I have a healthy respect for spiders, I avoid killing

Really enjoyed your spider album. I like photographing spiders, too, among other things. Jumping spiders are my current favorites.

I have no idea why I even looked at this album, I'm afraid of spiders. They give me the creeps. You have taken some great shot here but I'm afraid I would have killed them so quick I wouldn't have had time to take a photo. Great job my friend.

Hi Keith, this is a fascinating album, The largest of my spiders is only 1.5 cm long and most are only about 4mm I need a + 4 times filter on my 100m macro lens. I did find out the other day there are 2,000+ species in the U.K alone. I think finding them will keep me busy for a while any way I think most of mine would fit in the eye of any one of yours. Paul.

Well, I'm not ver much afraid of spiders - at least not of those mostly harmless ones we have here. But if I was to meet those you're showing us here.... I'm not so sure! How did you manage to get soooooo close to those beasts? Well, I guess they are all taken with a tripod, right? However, this is all great camera work. Very impressive - and I'm quite happy to see it all from a safe distance. Congratulations, my friend! Mike

this is my second stop at this album. i really am Scared of spiders in the worse way possible. But there is just something about them that grabs my attention, it is the ORB spiders. The web is so strong and how they know how to makes that type of web is beyond me. And even some spiders are pretty in a creepy kind of way. i enjoyed this album very much. I can tell you put a lot of effort into it and thank you once again for sharing your creativity with us. your Friend brenda

Hi Keith! My friend, thanks for the invite to this album. You've done a super job on it, and the photos are so very well taken. However, I don't like spiders. Despite that, I made my way through the album and did not faint! Big hugs, Sharon

Hi Keith, As you know I'm a slight Arachnophobic in regards to certain species of spiders, but I managed to view ALL these spectacular shots. As long as they are outside I don't mind but if they drop in expecting a cuppa, they have another thing coming!!! You on the other hand are welcome any time!! Hugs Trish.

Hello my dear friend Keith. So good to see you up & around, doing what you love doing the most. I am so impressed with this spider album ( also jealous He, he.)It is so excellent to me, as I like spiders. The non poisonous ones of course.( that lets the Red Back & the White Tail out I guess....Ha! ) I especially like the little, 'not so happy Net Casting Spider'. That is a really, great shot.I shall leave a message for you as well....Heaps of HUGS Keith....Your friend in QLD. Jenny.

Super album Keith.. and very informative. I did not realize that you being laid up.. so to speak.. meant you were crawling around at eye level with arachnids :-)

Very interesting album. Bet it kept you on your toes. I would be afraid of one of those hopping onto my hand or something. I'm just wondering how big some of these are. Then again, I don't wanna know...lol! Good job, as always!

We have our fair share of spiders in Florida but they are not easy to capture on camera when you have a little digital. In NY they were almost all non poisonest and easier to photograph. You did a fantastic job as usual Keith.

What impressive photos - and what beautiful creatures. Magnificent presentation - the webs they create are such a fascinating sight. Thank you. Did you avoid on purpose to tell us which are dangerous?? Again you did a splendid production - Thank you -

Hi Keith, You have some fantastic shots here. I know I won't be getting any like these, at least not this close anyway. I won't even hang the washing out lately we have so many spiders here. Mostly the white tails and redbacks and the huntsman are quite common too. I just hate it when they come inside hiding in the clothes from the line. I nearly ironed them a couple of times Euwwww. Thanks for the invite and glad you are feeling better Big hugs Chris and Jay

Crikey mate! I've been through all of these and first and foremost I must congratulate you on your excellent photography. You have really researched these spiders and manage to give the impression that you are on speaking terms with most of them. I seem to remember a few years ago I had cause to send you a photo of a local spider for identification, so this is certainly not something new for you. Can I take it from the obvious enthusiasm you have put into this album that you are now just about back to being your old self once again? I do most sincerely hope so. In it's own way this is an excellent album Keith, but I have to confess that I shall not be adding it to my favourites!! LOL Great work buddy - a real labour of love!! Peter

Hi Keith! Awesome pics of this great spider collection, and your patience in spider watching has been well rewarded. Lovely colours and you have managed to get the light at the right angle for maximum effect. Well researched and presented too -- good work! Now we will wait for the baby spiders to hatch and you will hopefully have some more additions... Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.
