Hello Henri and Josee. This album has brought back so many memories for me. As a young girl I worked in Belgium as a nanny caring for children. I lived there for 4 years and had the best time ever. I hitched hiked all over Belgium in my free time and Dinant is one of the many places I visited. Your photos are wonderful and have evoked memories of those times when I was there as a young girl, which I may add seems like just yesterday. Thank you also for stopping by my featured album and for all the lovely photo comments you so kindly left me. I appreciated your interest and support. Hi dear Henri, today I thought on you. I visited the famous fantastic exposition about “Karl der Kuehne”= “Charles Temeraire” in Bern. After 24.August it moves to Bruegge. Can only tell you don’t miss the occasion!!! As I wrote yesterday in your Dinant album and you in my Lake Murten, we were both so close to him. Lol To think how many bodies of the Burgundy fighters lies on the ground of this Lake. Brrrrrrrrrr As you certainly know Karl lost his Battle in Murten. And our confederates badgered them pitiless into the Lake. Then, they attained the legendary Burgundy prey. For the first time after 1476 pieces of them will move to Bruegge. You can see the magnific Goblins and tapestries normally exposed in Bern. Under thems also the 1000 flower goblin. Jean and I were so much impressed to see all this. At school we learned much about. Hello dear Belgian Friends!!!!What a nice surprise to see how beautiful and stunning the scenery is around Dinant, I've never given a second thought about going there until I saw this wonderful album. Talking about an explosive album, but right in the midst of watching the aweseome rockfaces my computer went black and the power went out for many hours(we had bad storms) ...so now I got to enjoy the rest as a fantastic nightcap. I also do want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your many nice messages on my albums and feature the past few weeks, you have no idea how they made me smile and how much they are appreciated, I just always feel so bad I am so slow to respond (but you know us Germans we ain't always the fastest!
