Album Description:
Cathedral Valley belongs to Capitol Reef NP in its Northern part; On previous trips we have been discouraged by rangers to make this one day drive on very rough roads alone in the desert but we did it this time and have been amazed by Nature's grandeur th

It is amazing how you can travel to wonderful places through someone else's pictures - Specially if they have a good eye to take not only the subject but the surroundings that provide information that help the immersion. Always a pleasure to browse your albums, Jorge.

Bien amicalezment. Ange

Jacques, many thanks for the dedication on this amazing place. It is one of the 'quieter' parks that not many Americans trouble to visit. That is their loss for it has some fantastic shapes & colours that you have captured so well. I never got off the road as you did, as I have a nervous wife to contend with LOL. I think we must have travelled the same tarmac route as you 95>24>12, an amzing route that I would recommend anyone to do. We are just back from our latest cruise & had a good day (well a couple of hours, a long way from the coast)at Monet's gdn. Eric

Jacques, what can one say about the splendour of Nature! Man can only feebly attempt to recreate it, but the grandeur, scale and originality belongs to Nature alone. The rock formations in the Cathedral Valley are incredible. I am sure it must have been awe-inspiring to witness them in person. Thank you for the pictures. It is a very kind gesture for you to dedicate this album to Eric. He is, indeed, a Nature lover par excellence. Best wishes, Suresh

Dear Jacques and Pierre, I have viewed this amazing album with the full screen slide show and have begun looking at individual photos to comment. This will take some time as each one is truly beautiful and beyond description. What an amazing journey you had - very brave to go on that desolate road - but oh what a glorious sight awaited you. Thanks for showing us what we would never be able to see for ourselves. I'll be back again to continue to enjoy your dreamed vacation spot. Hugs, Carol
