  • Hi, Tony, Thanks very much for contributing this lovely album on Coats to your Somerset village collection! (As you see, I am still behind in catching up ...) It provides a delightful photographic feast -- While I'm not at all familiar with Coats, I get the sense from these pictures that it is now primarily a small residential area, perhaps a rather posh one? A look at the map suggests that it might be a convenient distance for commuters to Yeovil or to towns accessible via the A303 (a road that we do know). Anyway, it appears to be an example of the changes that English villages have been undergoing over the past several decades. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful album! --Rebecca
