Album Description:

236-m high Kawakawa Hill provides a panoramic view of Ligao City & beyond. Few meters below its summit a crater resembles a huge Chinese cooking wok ("kawa" in local dialect) hence its name. In it, farmers plant Dinorado mountain rice.

    • Thanks again for sharing, you've got the best photos of this hill I've seen so far. The view brings back lots of fine childhood memories. I'm glad they finally developed this area as a tourist destination. Looking forward for my next visit in Ligao.

    • Dear Mary Ann, Thanks for sharing photos of another place I haven’t heard near Mt Mayon. The Kawakawa hill is so serene and tranquil and you communicated that skillfully with your artist’s eyes. It must have been an awe inspiring experience to be able to photograph such a beautiful place that only our Lord can create and that nature can provide. Ah, this album makes me look forward to another vacation there in the Philippines!
