Yes the real medieval town & they kept all old buildings as they were in the 15th century. I haven't seen the house where Vlad Tepes Dracula, was born & lived since he was five, but I know that house is there ( a very nice restarurant nowadays). I love this album, also that was a town which left one of the most impressions to me... Greetings Ana Marija

What a beautiful full-sized slideshow this album offers. Many of the photos - windows and some of the buildings remind me of some old parts of Austria. Thank you for taking me to a place I'll never see with my own eyes! ... Judy

Now let me sit down quietly in the weekend, listening to my favorite music again, see all your stunning new photos one by one. Best wishes, dear friend. CS :)

Back to Dracula (thanks for your GE today!): The Earl Dracula, vampire living of the blood of living persons, is a pure literary invention of the Irish poet Bram Stoker (end of 19th cent.) - but the horrific legends concerning him had at that time, and especially in the first half of the 20th cent., an immense echo, in several countries but especially (why?) in Romania. Several cities are said to have been home to Dracula, amongst others Sighisoara...! - Best wishes: Kaethi and Henri

Dear friend Yair: this is another example of how ideally present a subject, a visit of a historically important place to a larger circle of visitors. We can follow the walk through the Citadel (certainly so far completely unknown to most of us) as if we really were there, profiting from the explanations and comments. I must add a detail concerning me: that I was particularly interested in the house of Dracula... which and who played an important role in my youngest years... - Thank you and all good wishes: (Kaethi and) Henri

Yair it has been a pleasure (as a little mouse) to "travel in your pocket" and see this beautiful place with such incredible history and charm. Wonderful photographs as always, and information that is fascinating. If they had history lessons like this when I was in school, I would have paid much more attention. Thank you. Fay

Yair, you did well to pick out a city one rarely visits and make it come alive with all its romantic trappings and joie de vivre. It is indeed a treat to wander around this city and look at the sights of Sighisoara through your eyes. Your photography has caught every nuance of the town. I am thankful for this album. I am sure Maria is delighted with the dedication. Best wishes, Suresh
