Hello dear Suresh, thank you very very much for your very nice comment on my bamboo album. This is warmest appreciated and I feel always honoured to receive encouragement from a talented photographer as you. This forest is not to far from my home, and its microclimate allow the cultivation of many kind of bamboos and exotic plants. I love wandering in this park, it come from this place such feeling of peace and Zen... What a stupendous album on India you have! Colorful and various, it was a great way to discover this fascinating place through your fantastic pictures, the landscape is magnificent, and thanks for showing us so many beautiful people and other culture. Your shots are splendid, and I enjoyed a lot my visit. I wish you a very beautiful end of week and all the best, warm regards, Genevieve

I've meant to come again and to leave you a comment, so finally I've gotten back to it. You have such a knack of showing us the beauty wherever you travel. Traveling by train in such luxury must be wonderful. ... You have shown us architecture, the color of the land and your always-exquisite portraits. You manage to get up close and personal with those you capture. Thank you also, for taking us to the Taj Mahal and it's spectacular beauty.

Hello Suresh, you are right; it has been some time since I wrote you a note. I have looked at these pictures before, but never took the time for a closer look. I am amazed by this incredible train! What a great way to travel. Your pictures are amazing – like always. You have a very special way to show it all, the scenery, the different monuments and – what I love most – the people. I had planed to go for a trip to India next month, but have to postpone it. Hopefully it will be only postponed and not cancelled.:-) Thank you for all your wonderful messages, the invitations and the email. You seem to find time for everything!!!! I thought retirement would be the answer for all what I never had time to do, but now I ask myself how I ever had time for work! Israel is recovering from its last war. Two of my nephews are still at military service around Gaza, but hopefully soon they will be home and go back to work. My family is well and so am I. I wish you and your family a healthy and joyful 2009. - Galit

Suresh, this album proves that it's not just about the journey...but how you get there...in the days of fast paced transportation, taking the time and savouring the slow pace of traveling by "train", well, palace on wheels is really more of an adequate description, and the wonderful sights along the way gives you a new perspective. This album was sweet New Year's treat, with all my favourite candies: Your awesome portrait photography, stunning landscapes and some of the most amazing monuments this great world has to offer! I read with much sadness the other day that the Indian Government is considering closing the Taj to the public (understandable, but sad) and I certainly do hope I make it to India before that happens. Happy New Year, my friend! Marita

Hi Suresh! Thank you for this fabulous album. It is a collection of true jewels. I'm sorry that I only visit now; I've been busy starting a new job teaching in a college. I think that this is one of your best albums, which means a lot. The splendour of the architecture, art, and the "palace on wheels" is overwhelming, from the big details to the small ones. The many expressions of the Taj Mahal are fantastic. Of course, your portraits are excellent as always, and so full of character, from the gentleman with the hookah to the friendly girl who wishes to see us soon. While I am admiring all this, I feel sad for the terrorist attacks on Mumbai, and I wish the best for your great country and its peace loving people. Take care, Orly

Dear Suresh, it is not an album, it is a fairy tale from the Palace on wheels and Maharaja's palaces to the greatest man made wonder on earth, the Taj Mahal! Your portraits are well studied, always the best choice! I passed probably more than 12 hours on this magnificent Art book that I hope to see featured as mine on Taj had been in the past; Thank You to have permitted this new trip with your keen eyes! When the pictures are, as always, of a great quality, the dense explanations come to make of this album one of the most precious travel book on Rajasthan; You are a great Ambassador of your fabulous Country dear Suresh, congratulations! Dearest Suresh, you have done it again. Judging by the number of comments your albums receive - and in only 8 hours - you are a very popular member here, and justifiably so. Your skills as a photographer in general and a portrait photographer in particular are outstanding, your indepth comments are illuminating and very interesting, and your general good nature is a joy to witness through your own comments on our photos. I hope some day we have a chance to meet, but until then I will savor every moment I spend with you here in webshots. Warmest regards and a big hug, Beth

Another wonderful, and very interesting album, Suresh. The colours and clarity are just marvellous. It brings back memories of my visits to Jaipur and to the Taj Mahal, ten years ago. Unfortunately I did not take the trip to Rajasthan on the Palace on Wheels, as you did, but on a rather traumatic bus ride from Delhi to Jaipur. It is so nice to see the train inside as well. Kind regards, Marjon Nabar

It's not a surprise that such a train is called Palace on Wheels. It looks like something suitable for kings... Suresh, it was a pleasure to join you on this journey. India always fascinated me, even that I still did not have a chance to travel there. My favorites are the portraits of the locals. You always to such a great job with that, and this time is no exception. Thanks for creating and sharing this album with everyone! Best wishes, Yair.

Suresh, Words escape me - this album is all that I knew it would be and MORE! Your portraits, are superb - as only you can do. As I viewed the slideshow I held my breath waiting for the Taj Mahal....and you have, without a doubt, some of the best Taj photos I have ever seen. The train had to have been a marvelous adventure. Needless to say, the last photo of the child is your perfect signature to this album which is so rich in Indian culture and heritage. Thanks for sharing another fantastic album, Suresh.
