Dearest Jacques, how did I ever miss this wonderful album of my beloved Alsace? It must have been all the commotion around the holidays. Anyway, I'm so happy to have found it and I thank you for these delightful and stunning images from this wonderful region. Thank you also for your many kind comments on my Caribbean album, I think you must have commented on every photo! To answer three questions - yes, that was me snorkeling (but the photographer was not Mom), I did take the starfish photo (and all the other photos except the ones of Mom and me), and we do say fish for one fish or many fish - we don't usually say fishes, although it is acceptable. And if you liked "penultimate", you will also like "antipenultimate," which refers to the one before the one before last. So again, thank you for this treasure. Dear Jacques! It is always a great pleasure to travel with you, espaecially when you are showing France which is not a very familiar country to me. The cathedrals, the spires, the frescoes, the stained glass windows and the organs are all part of your treasured collections which I throroughly enjoy viewing. Your captions are all so informative and add much to the viewing pleasure. This album has everything I could have wished for. I can almost hear the music in every cathedral.
