Dear Suresh, I have looked before at this wonderful album, and have come back again today. You have magical images here, which skilfully display the colour, vibrancy and joy of the tribal cultures of Nagaland.Your portraits are empathetic and revealing; you have a real gift for capturing that inner light of each subject. Until I actually get to Nagaland, this will be my "hors d'ouevre"...best wishes, Diana

Hi dearest Suresh!! I enjoyed one more time this your splendid album about Nagaland, it is full of expression and colours, once again thanks for sharing on webshots Suresh and also many thanks for your kind comments on my album about Nepal. In 1968 the traffic in Kathmandu was surely very different!! And not only the traffic I think! Best regards from Italy, Peppino.

Dear Suresh, I don't know how I missed this album six months ago, but I am happy that you were adjusting (or viewing it) today so that it showed up in my 'friends strip' on the home page. These photos are exquisite; your portraits, absolute beauties (as always). I looked at a map to locate Nagaland because of the Tibetan-like features of many of the peoples. Thank you so much for sharing with us, the places we will never get to see for ourselves. Blessings, Judy & Mike

Thanks for sharing Suresh, love the information and the thoughts you gave/shared with us and most of all your portraits, I really envy you, each capture has its own personality and its own feelings... Last Monday I went to a photography exhibition and there was a thought from the photographer that I still have in mind: "The way of seeing is a way of being" I like your way of seeing, so please, keep your captures going :) Thanks again, Francisca fromout Madrid - Spain

Dear Suresh, what a beautiful album - I can't even begin to describe how wonderful it is. If I had stopped to comment on every photo I would just be repeating myself over and over because they are all excellent. Again your ability to capture the hearts and souls of the people is unequaled, and your keen eye for detail and form are also what sets your photos apart from so many others. Are you sure you don't work for National Geographic? You could start your own magazine and put them out of business! Big hugs, Beth

Dear Suresh! I have had the pleasure of viewing many excellent albums of yours, and this one definitely stands out as one of the very best. This is largely thanks to your skills of catching an interesting scene and a perfect moment, but mostly your sensitivity and respect to people, and your ability to communicate with everyone and to to deliver this communication to the viewers in the most natural way. The album is fascinating and rich. The festival and the rituals are magnificent. Last, you have also opened a window to the less festive aspect of life of these unfamilar tribes. I must thank you, Sureh, and congratulate for this fantastic work. In this opportunity, I wish you a very Happy Birthday and a Wonderful New Year! I read that your next adventure is near: Are you going to Antarctica? Wow! Have a great trip, and be safe! I am looking forward to seeing your photos from there, as these are certainly going to be something else! Best wishes, Orly

A facinating album of great detail & colours. You have opened our eyes to a world most of us will never see. I hope you have a superb trip to the Great White Continent, whatever happens I am sure you will be back with a fantastic album. Weather is unpredictable down there or in the Drake passage. We had it fairly rough going down but not too bad, I was hoping to see some waves crashing over the ship but not to be. Coming back was calm with fog so no birds were flying (they need the wind to glide). Yes sometimes it can be really rough but that is all part of the adventure! you are going to the edge of the known world! Have you been reading the cruisecritic.com Antarctic message board, I posted a link there to UKAHT.org website for the Port Lockroy diaries, worth reading if not done already. Early dec weather has not been good, a few storms preventing landings & ice packing Lemaire channel, hope it has cleared when you get there. Let me know the ship you are on, I would like to follow your progress on the web if I can. Take care, I am sure it will be a wonderfull experience. Eric

My dear friend Suresh. Once again you came back with a new great album. The People you shot here in your photographes are so colourfull. This is India, but the people have much Burmain faces more than fces from Inbdia. It is a very good and intersting album. In my point ofd View, one of your best ever. Real people in ection - that what made this album so great. RAN

If I were to view this album without your notes and then asked to guess what part of the world was the subject, India would have been far down the list if it were to make it at all. Thank you so much for this enlightening and beautiful collection.

Hi Suresh, thank you for introducing to me and the world to this remote part of India in Kohima at the celebration of the Hornbill festival. The album was a pleasure to view for the high quality in portraiture and of the people's expressions and colourful costumes. The note covering the history of the tribes of this remote part of India together with each commentary helped considerably with relating with each photo very well. When I have some more time I'll come back to thoroughly enjoy each photo! Regards from Paul.

Dear Suresh, Once again you have provided us with a vivid visual and unique cultural experience. After reading the description under the first photo, I viewed the album as a slideshow and was totally mesmerized by the beauty displayed within. Your portraits are par excellence...unquestionab ly the best on Webshots. Your other photos bring the true ambiance of the festival into focus, and album presentation masterfully created. Thank you for all the effort involved in traveling to this area of your country. We can only wait in great expectation to see what the next remote corner of the world will beckon you and your wife! Is it too early to say Bon Voyage? Thank you for this truly amazing album that you have shared with the world. Best wishes, Carol
