Hello Ran, the Florida of 10 or 20 years ago was certainly not the Florida of today! Especially cities like Miami and Key West have gone through immense changes. Miami around the airport area used to be downright frightening, all the way to the now Super Hip and Fashionable South Beach and Hialeah, Coconut Grove Area. And Key West used to be really laid back, artsy, hippy and now it is still beautiful but very, very touristy. I lived in Tampa, Florida close to Clearwater, for 4 years around 1981 and didn't go back to Florida until about 4 - 5 years ago - what a change!!!! I am looking forward to your other albums, with the NEW Florida and your visit with Carol. Sorry you were within 2 ours of me here in Texas - next time you can stop by here and we can talk some German (or sing??? LOL). No hurries, no worries about responding to my message, I know you have a lot to do and catch up...and I'll be here :D...Cheers. Marita

Truly an outstanding album, Ran! You have caught Florida spot on. The ambiance in Florida is like none other in the USA. There is gaiety, sunshine and lovely cities like Key West, Fort Lauderdale etc. You certainly captured the spirit of Florida so well. I am also happy that you got to meet Carol and Henry, and had an occasion to enjoy their company. I have been away for the last two weeks on a cruise to Antarctica, hence the delay in my comments. Hi Ran, Your album is superb. You must not have taken your golf clubs along or you would have had at least one more photo op - alligators. They hang out at the golf course water holes. Hope you enjoyed your tour - even though a long time ago. - DeeAnne

Ran, I am happy to be the first to comment on your Florida album. It was such an honor meeting you and Aliza and we were so happy you made the trek north to visit us. I can tell by your pics you had a wonderful time in the Ft Lauderdale area, trip to Key West etc. Looking forward to your return and next time being able to spend more time with you and Aliza and visit some points of interest together and have dueling cameras.
