  • I really admire the work you put into this album to create the pattern of the 4 types of pictures. Methodical and precise...that is you!!!

  • Dear Jacques, you are always a good friend. I do look forward to your excellent comments, and you are always so generous, appreciative and sincere. There is never a touch of formality or a cliche in your comments. It all comes from your heart. I appreciate that. Thank you ever so much for the kind comments in my Chile album. Much valued. Best wishes, Suresh

  • OH Jacques, what a wonderful album this is. I finally had to stop commenting on every single photo but it wasn't easy - they are all wonderful. Your portraits, as usual, are superb, including those of the animals. And the landscapes are like paintings. And to imagine you did all this while feeling so terribly bad. I salute you, my friend! Love, Beth

  • Dear Jacques, how did I miss this album?! I will return as soon as I get some business out of the way, but wanted to thank you for all your wonderful comments in my winter walks album under my new ws name. I can see already from this first page of thumbnails that I will love every shot. Love to you both, Beth P.S. - "gal" is a slang word for girl or woman, much in use in the 30's and 40's. It's kind of the feminine equivalent of "guy" for men.

  • Dear Jacques, What an adorable and inspiring album you've got here! I love how you blended photos of animals and plants with your human subjects in your distinctive style and excellent photo artistry - all these in this superbly crafted album. Your photo titles are like conversation lines, as if we were there with you and listening to all your great insights and pleasurable perceptions. With this album you have brought Madagascar to a level of gem-like quality for you have highlighted many of its oh-so-unique flora and fauna. But what I love most about this album is your great heart & sensitivity to find something very positive in seemingly harsh conditions faced by local folks & even children. I am soo deeply blessed by you, my friend! I pray you have recovered from your "battle injuries" during your trip there. Always with love and remembrance, Mary Ann

  • Dear Jacques, We are headed out of town this morning to visit the grandkids, but I just had to take a few minutes to view this slideshow as I have been "patiently" waiting for this album. Well-worth the wait, my friend. Awesome album - fantastic photos even though you were so sick while you were there. As always, you have captured darling photos of children. I will be back to enjoy this album at a leisurely pace later in the weekend and download many. Excellent photography as always and great album presentation. Hugs, Carol

Bien amicalement. Ange
