Hi DeAnne: Yes, Grand Haven is a beautiful town. I spent 3 years enjoying the area while teaching at the old high school. Had such great fun at the State Park, both in summer and winter. Sorry I had to leave (1960), but a new job was in the works. Great photos and great memories.

My dear frindDe Ann. This plaace should be a paradise in the summer. I hope they don't suffer from flying insects ......This is how I remwmber my visit to lake Michigan in summer 1984.....Great album my friend. I"m going to visit Vietnam on May ,with few days stay at Bankok Tailand. I will be in America again at the end of the year, and as it will be cold this times, Florida will be my destination....Thank you for your comment at my 3 shots a wek album. Hi DeeAnne, I was delighted that you dropped by. This album is so sharp and colorful...a joy to view. You took some fantastic angle shots. Haven't done anything with WS for a year. I have wireless. It's not as slow as dialup, but not the fastest dog in the neighborhood either. With WS ads for photo stuff on my page, it really makes working with this site a struggle. I also have Fotki that is much faster. That tells me where the difference lies. Sorry I haven't been by sooner though. You have always been a delight to share our special sights with. Hi Dee, I drive through Grand Haven at least once a year on my way north, and I have to say I have never stopped for more than a fast food lunch. You have convinced me to nice it a closer look this coming summer. Thanks. thanks also for your very kind comments on my Williamsburg album. That last sunset reflection shot you commented is actually going to be in an exhibit opening up in New York in a couple of weeks. Nice album. I see that there are a lot of the older homes. I had so much fun looking at the ones in Marshall MI when I was there last June. Wish I could have had more then the one day though.

Hi DeeAnne, Grand Haven looks quite appealing. Love the homes with their wonderful porches and hanging planters. Seems like it would be a lovely place to go on a garden tour.
