Hi Barbara, thanks to the invitation from your parents my attention was drawn to this fine album of Dubai. It was quite different from the usual albums of Dubai. No skyscrapers and shopping malls here. It was great to see the other side of the town, the vivid harbor is a guarantee for beautiful photos. It is remarkable that there were no women on the streets, but on the other hands we don't see them too often in our own harbors too. That is usually not as place for women. On the other hand they were present at the disco while not even dressed in traditional clothes. I hope women have the same rights as men in Dubai. Anyway, Dubai is still on my to visit list and your fine shots confirm that it is a must-see city. Greetz, Tjebbe

Compliments for this photo report: for the quality of the pictures from a usually neglected place, for the courage! I am sure most "female tourists walking alone" would have been afraid!!

Merci, Barbara, fuer das fantastische Album, das uns erlaubt, mit dir einen wichtigen und typischen Teil Dubais zu besuchen! Ich habe es richtig genossen, Papa kommt morgen auch mit auf deinen Spaziergang! Gute Heimkehr morgen! Herzlich, Ma
