Have you read the book "Abraham's Well?" It's about the "Trail of Tears" and then some. It made my face have a trail of tears.....It was very well written. Written through the eyes of one of the half black Cherokee slaves that walked the trail too.

Great work with your HDR blending. I am new to this and need to experiment more with producing the initial images. Using a tripod and taking multiple images only works if there is no movement between shots eg wind. I need to experiment more with the bracketing function on my camera. Stan

Jim, this is a marvelous assortment of images. Your composition style, as always, is excellent. I found all the photos, except the showing of the different exposures used to make the HDR image, to be exceptional. Thanks for sharing these marvelous views of a sadly very historical area.

Jim, it's nice to have new techniques in our arsenal of photographic prowess. It is interesting to see the progression into the HDR finished product. Spring is a good time to honor those who came before us and left a lasting legacy.
