Galit, one could spend weeks together in a place like this and never quite see everything. I always found these ruins of immense interest as a legacy of our cultural and historical past. I also feel often very overwhelmed by the preponderance and ubiquitousness of the ruins. Thank you for sharing with us all these excellent pictures. Hi Galit! This is certainly an impressive album and I have learnt so much through your photos and informative captions. A wonderful experience to visit this historical site and awesome that such amazing structures could be built all those years ago without the type of equipment we have now. Wonderful photo of the Hippodrome and I love the composition of the Shadows on the oval Plaza. You certainly chose the right time to visit when the lush green contrasts with the stone and the hollyhocks and yellow flowers add contrasing colours. The details in the carvings and buildings is amazing, also the mosaics. Colourful costumes and excellent portraits of the people add to the experience, although the unstable column was a bit scary..
