Album Description:
Chiricahua Mountains, part of the Coronado Nat'l Forest in SE Arizona. The unusual rock formations (columns and hoodoos) are of rhyolite. The Chiricahuas were home to legendary Apaches, Cochise and Geronimo.

Hi Dave. My only regret visiting the Chiricahuas this time was not catching it in the 'golden hour' light. It is truly spectacular when the low sun fires up the rhyolite formations.

I enjoyed seeing scenes of some of the place you went that I did not get to, Pard. Some good, descriptive titles here, too. Especially liked the "kissing hoodoos". ;-)
