Album Description:
Petroglyphs at the site were created by the Jornada Mogollon people between about 900 and 1400 AD. Over 21,000 petroglyphs are recorded. Located 17 miles north of Tularosa, NM.

Thank you, Sheila. It was a most interesting shoot. I've never seen such a concentration of petroglyphs as this before. Just how did they last so long?

These drawings are more detailed that the ones I found in my Corn Springs album. Strange as I don't think the Corn Springs drawings are nearly as old.
