Album Description:
This visit convinced me that despite how other folks feel about America, my view won't change. I am & will be eternally grateful to her! May she hold tight her Judeo-Christian values & democratic ideals of her founding fathers. May God bless America!

Watching this album the word impressive came into my mind many times. I remember standing on the beach of Lingayen, in memory of the more then 25.000 people that lost their lives in a unvolentary march to the south. There's a white cross in fort Santiago where we thought about people who had lost their lifes in dreadfull situations too. Hoping this murdering will come to an end, if ever.

What a wonderful album. I always make it a point to go to our national cemeteries. I always shake the hands of survivors still alive today. They deserve the honor. A few years ago before I was really into photography I visited Arlington National Cemetery It was an experience to find the tomb stone of an Admiral (Admiral Borda)I served under and respected dearly. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice album, Mary Ann. I'm also planning on making an album of the Christopher Columbus Cemetery in Havana, which is quite different in many ways, especially rich in architectural and heritage values. Your collection is actually giving me a big boost now to finish that album. BTW, remember that mushroom macro shot you liked so much, the one with the ants on top? It was featured today in Flowers (Home & Garden). Hope you're fine, my dearest friend. Take care and stay in touch. Jorge.

amazing album, Mary Ann. It's such a huge cemetery. It's neat how the rows are curved or arched. Why are there so many americans burried there and not shipped back to where they were from? just curious. Hope you are well and that you are in good health. hugs. Kelli

MaryAnn, Thank you much for the showing of this memorial-I would've visited this site if I had known it was there. A beautiful setting and like-wise photos. You do have a way with a camera. Thank you for the card and the invitation to visit this beautiful album. We thank you for your thoughts. ron

I was not aware of this, thanks! That Diffenbaugh may be a relative. My name is a corruption of Von Dubendorf and I know of about 12 different spellings of the name.

Dear Mary Ann, this album is so special as it struck me straight in the heart as a Filipino, and now as a member of the U.S.N. I remember my grandfather telling me war stories of U.S. servicemen fighting valiantly alongside Philippine combatants to defend our freedom. The photos are reverent and the capture shows your artsy talent! This is another winner my friend and thanks for sharing another masterpiece! God bless you, the Philippines and America!
