Album Description:
As a grade school kid, I've known this bird of prey as the Philippine Monkey-eating Eagle. Then many years later, our government had it changed to the Philippine Eagle, & ascribed it as our national bird. Eagles kept here have names, ex. "Dakila".

Dear Mary Ann, this is really a treat to see the most famous eagle of all, the Philippines Eagle. I remember the Philippine Eagle to be taught in grade school as the Monkey eating eagle. You're blessed to see them up close. God bless, Ding.
