Album Description:

After a work stint in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte province, I travelled to Ilocos Sur and took a quick tour (3 hours) to this old yet rather quaint Spanish colonial city, VIGAN. Oh, I must return and explore this charming city some more!

    • Hello Mary Ann. In March, I travelled to the Philippines again. On our way to Pagudpud we stopped in Vigan for 4 hours. We visited the museum,Cathedral and we rode a typical calesa. Very nice and quiet place to visit again. Thanks for the photos because I couldn't see so many places you have visited. Take care, Francisco from Spain

    • You are an inspiration to me. We all spend so much time roaming the world and never see our own country. You are doing a beautiful job of documenting your country, never stop.

    • Dear Mary Ann, I surely enjoyed and learned a lot from this visit of your "Glimpse of Vigan Ilocos Sur album. I have Ilocano heritage from my mom's side and this made me proud. The cobble stone road reminded me of visits in Madrid and Barcelona, Spain. I'm glad they prserved buildings and churches, testament of the pride of the Ilocanos. The annotations are a big help. Thank you my friend for your stupendous work which make us understand and appreciate the photos that you post. God bless and Mizpah, Ding.
