Pagudpud Beaches in Ilocos Norte

Album Description:

In April 2012, work travel took me to Ilocos Norte where I got to sightsee the beaches of Pagudpud. I like that they are quite rustic & not (yet) commercialized, unlike Boracay in Aklan. Next time, I hope to stay, swim & enjoy Pagudpud's offerings.

    • Hi Mary Ann. This is a very beautiful album. It seems so long since I visited the Philippines, 3 years now. When we come back someday soon I hope, we must visit this place. A hidden gem off the main tourist route I think. Hope you and your family are all doing well. My son just finished Grade 10 - only two more years until he is university bound! We are actually heading out today for a week in the Rocky Mountains. I have a new super wide angle lens I am looking forward to trying out there. Just hope we get some good weather, as we have had nothing but rain for the past few weeks...and it's supposed to be summertime here! Steve

    • Mary Ann, this is another beautiful album up North, where my mom (La Union) and dad (Isabela) grew up. I enjoyed walking the uncrowded beaches and the seemingly endless blue seas and the skies in the horizon. I like how you framed your shots with coconut trees jutting out from nowhere and the flowers and plants that are incorporated. I also noticed how you carefully took shots with lines of the trees and the horizon. Thanks for sharing this album for us webshot friends to see. Ding
