Hi, Bill!! I have been enjoying your fantastic albums of barns. This one really captures the architect in you. I am learning a lot from your photographs -- angling, lighting, what to emphasize or de-emphasize, proportion, balance.... Thanks for sharing your interests and talents. princess (california)

Even though I always go for the overall shot first, I love seeing the details of the barns here close up. They just don't make the cupolas and roof designs like that anymore. Great finds and beautiful photography!

Beautiful details! Nice compositions! Great angles! You write to be an achitect. Can you explain why people chose to make their barns round. It seems so much more difficult than sqare of hectagonal. Please come also over to my place; I have some nice shots of one Dutch windmill from crazy angles... Greetings Anna oldenhave, The Netherlands

Hi Bill Thanks for visiting my albums. Yes it was a special trip and I would like to go back. I also like details and find different architecture fascinating from different countries. My sisterīs husband is an architect. Also our barns look more like the ones from Norway and the barns in the US are so much different and they are also huge! Thanks Anita

Wow, you're an architect! Now this explains why all the architectural details, maps, and plans in your albums. I'm far from being an architect for I'm an environmental engineer. However I can see art in buildings, bridges, and other types of structure. I love your photos especially the way you've captured the minutest detail in lines, proportions, and shapes of the barns, churches, lighthouses, and even signs. Thanks for your sharing your talent!
