Hi Jane! I love the type of winters you have out there in Oregon. You have the best of it all; snow up in the mountains, milder in the valley. Was that "Old Blue" in the background at the Covered Bridge where Rod is hiding in the shadows? Maybe not!! :-)) Lots of hugs and love, Sharon

Hi Jane! Another beautiful album that we haven't visited before... Wonderful landscapes, woods and rivers! We love the 'through the trees', the 'vista' and the lovely cute deer and many other special shots, too! In our guestbooks, you have written about 'corn-on-the-cob'. Oh yes, this is delicious, we tasted it several times in the USA! But the huge cornfields around us here are for animal food... :-( !!! In retaurants, they don't serve corn, but we can buy it in food stores, some fresh sweet corn, but mostly in cans. We're happy to know that you love 'our' Pyrenees. What mountains are around the place where you live? Can you see them from your home? May be they are in one of your albums... Thanks again, Jane for all your nice and interesting comments! Henri and Käthi

Jane, Another beautiful album. Loved McKee Bridge, Hardwoods and Softwoods however, all are beautiful. This album gives me that glimmer of hope that beautiful photos can be taken in winter! Certainly not as good as yours but at least it is worth trying! I agree with Sharon, this should be a featured album! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful album. Kay

Why hasn't this album been featured, Jane! It is soooooooo gorgeous. You really have so much beautiful scenery to work with out there and you captured it well with that Sony! :-))) Thanks for your guestbook entries in my lonely albums. I wish I could tell you a little bit about Stubb's Supper, but I really know nothing about the sculptures and art work at the MBG. People like to donate sculptures in honor of someone in their family, but their taste in art is different than mine! :-))))) However, if it's there, I'll photograph it!!! Tell me I'm going to sleep better tonight, please!!!! :-((((( My good eye is twitching from lack of sleep. :-((((( Tell Petie I want to see a pic of him with his chew bone. If you tell him that I said to pose with that bone, I bet he'll pose!!!!! Hugs and turtledove kisses. Sharon

Hi Jane! I love the thumbnail for the start of this album! This album is so good it should be featured! The scenery is fantastic!!!! Please tell Rod to stand in the sunlight for the photos. He isn't being bashful is he? If Bob can stand out on the rock cliffs in Maine, Rod certainly can stand in the sunlight on the covered bridge! :-)))) Just kidding!!! Tell him not to get mad at me! You've been a busy girl today; way to go!!! Hugs! Sharon

Jane...this is a wonderful album. There are so many great shots. I really like Applegate Lake and the hillside, but I also like the photos of the animals and all of the scenery. Its interesting to see the old photo of the bridge after the flood and now how it has been preserved. Very pretty. regards, Barbara http://community.webshots.com/user/midnight_lace

Jane, These addtions are all fabulous, really clear and crisp shots, a very interesting and beautiful collection of photo's. You are surrounded by such beautiful countryside as your photo's show.My overall favourite is "Applegate Lake" which is very beautiful. "Small foot bridge in the park", "The Sun came out" with those great shadows, "Snow in the high country", "Applegate dam" "Day is Ending", "Promontory& quot; is also beautiful where the land juts out into the Lake. but all are Super pics, I could go on and on but just to mention "Little Boy Lost" I am pleased he had plenty to eat as he wandered into the wrong area :-))) but you managed to get a great pic of him anyway. Thanks for sharing these brilliant and well taken photo's Jane, and for your very much appreciated comments in my guestbook. Pleased you are having beautiful sunshine and blue skies. Overnight we have had a light covering of snow. Massive Hugs sent with loads of Love.:-))) Elaine.

Hi, Jane! I'm not an expert on cattle, but the black one looks like a Black Angus to me. We had a few cows on the farm when I was growing up in Illinois, but if someone else gives you a better answer, believe them, because Sharon and I have been living in the city for a long time now! LOL :-)) You got some great photos on your day out to get rid of cabin fever. Yesterday Sharon and I went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens again to take snow photos. We had lots of fun and even managed to stay warm with lots of layers of clothing. Maybe someday we will get some of those pics on Webshots. I spent about an hour trying to take photos of Cardinals, Robins and squirrels eating holly berries and I think I got about 3 good photos. Not bad for an hour's work, huh??? Talk to you later. Bob

Jane, This sure looks like an ideal way to combat the dreaded cabin fever! Just go take pictures! That should cure anything! The McGee Bridge story is great, and I love the little waterfall! If you have time, look at my new album of Birds and Squirrels. Best wishes, Jenny

Hi Jane, This is so interesing, the photo's and history of Mcgee Brigde is wonderful. The beautiful little park looks so inviting just right for a quiet walk and maybe a picnic. You also got some great natural shots (With appropriate captions)of the Deer and Cows. Do you usually hide the tall guy in the shadows or is he camera shy?LOL :-)) anyway Jane it's a great interior shot of Mcgee Bridge. Please pass on my best wishes Jane to Rod on his birthday. Did you have a good shopping day.? I will pass on your kind comments on the cats to my daughters they will be so pleased. Thanks for all your lovely comments you make in my guestbook I really appreciate it.Pleased you were able to get outdoors, the weather looks so much better. Thanks once again for another super album. Looking forward to your addtions. BIG HUGS. Elaine.
