Hi Gladys....this is my first viewing of your albums, very nice. I especially like your garden photos. You must have a huge garden. Do you take care of it all yourself? I live in Massachusetts, USA. We are in our Fall foliage season now, are you going into your Spring? Tell me about your seasons. LindaM.

I was having trouble with my modem loading so slowly, or "locking up" all together, a few months ago. I installed a new modem and now the speeds usually run at 45-50. Since then things have been great. Do other people over there have the same problem as you? I can imagine how frustrating it is when you're trying to look at Webshots photos. Nice talking to you, Jon

So many of the flowers and plants in your new album are unfamiliar to me. However, the delicate little flower of the "lobelia&quo t; (in this album), is one that I remember growing in that rock garden that you commented on in you last guestbook entry. The seeds were so small you only had to sprinkle them on the top of the soil to germinate them. Unfortunately where I live now the soil does not grow flowers nearly as well as it did in those "Rock Garden Flower" slides. Now that I'm more into photogaphy, I wish that I had taken those slides with a better camera. Part of the problem may be my scanner--not being very good at reproducing the slide images very clearly. The spring flowers will be coming out around here soon, so maybe I can finally get out and try out my new 70-300mm lens. It has a macro setting, so that I will be able to zoom in closer to the flowers than before. Nice chatting with you again. Jon

Hello Gladys, About this 007 Digital Camera. The pictures it takes only come out about 5 inches Sq or 13CM. I suppose it's just because my Nephew mark knows I collect Zippo Lighters. But it's the thought. This album of yours is so beautiful, Thankyou again. love, Ray (UK)

Hi Gladys! Thank you for your kind words. For your information, in three weeks in those parks I shot 20 rolls of 24 frames each. I'm a firm believer that I rather throw away bad or semi duplicate prints than regret having missed one. I still miss some, but not as many. I spent two nights taking moon lit long exposure pictures in Yosemite and all the pictures were spoiled by the headlights of passing autos. Talk about regret at missed opportunities! I think that experienced made up my mind to switch to digital photography. Thanks again, Paul in Florida.

Thank You for taking time to actually write in a guestbook. Not too many people do. BTW, does the word 'Weiro' mean Cockatiel? Do you have any birds? I would just like to say thank you for your kind comment in my (Town and Country Living) album. It was quite a surprise to me; I had no idea that I had been featured until the e-mails started flooding in as I had not been on webshots that day. I am so pleased that you enjoyed my album and I hope you will come back to visit as I intend to update soon. It is only through sharing my photos with others that makes me realise the beauty of Northern England that I take so much for granted. As you will no doubt realise I have so many people to thank that I have not the time to look at your albums at the moment, but I promise I will return. Luv...Meg.

Hi Gladys, I have just realised that I didnt answer your question. The Bottle brush tree grows here in my garden, probably at a much slower rate than it does in a warmer climate. The Banana tree was growing at the Finca that we stayed at in Alora Spain last year. I would love to grow the banana here but Im afraid they will not servive the hard frosts that we get.....Luv...Meg.

Hi Gladys, and I am bobsmacked...I truly am and humbled for sure. I was in email and read one of the guestbook entries and it was Galit...and I was confused I can tell you..so I went and looked and nearly fell off the chair! I am endeavoring to thank as many while I am here now as I still have a backload, and a painting that is behind...and today I got an offer to exhibit my paintings in Sydney which is exciting!! Something is definitely happening to me, and thankfully I can understand what is sometimes not understandable to others. Life is a very powerful thing, and the world that is out there, is a much bigger one than the one that we see with our natural eyes. My faith in life is definitely being blessed, and hopefully soon, I can get the money from my pics that shall enable me to fulfill my dream to see this beautiful world with my own eyes. Tks ever for your kind support and it is all beyond me.Take care dear friend and have a really great day....Em

If you happen to drop by my flower albums and you know some names, I would appreciate you help for naming them :) I love your flowers growing on the walls, and the one around the tree. And the point of view of the flowers against the sky. Very well done. Take care Gladys and have a great day. Yan/Ottawa

Thank you for the very kind words about the model aircraft photos. Although R/C (remote control) Aircraft is mostly a hobby, the passion ingrained in the creation of these models is reflected by the meticulous attention to detail. The ultimate goal is to produce an exact duplicate of the full size aircraft in a scaled down size. Some of these aircraft have complete cockpits that look fully functional. The craftsmanship is outstanding. I just try to capture these “works of art” with photography. Sincerely, Phil Bousquet (aircraftmodels1)

Hi Gladys, sorry for the messing about that you had to go through, I was playing about with the links last night, I managed to get hircock100 from Saxonfenken, but could not get it to work the other way round, and tonight it is no better altough the link is put in properly, as for the blogs I have never bothered to put the link in, but I can see a good reason to do so, I agree that the pis are a bit small but it is better than nothing and I suppose we could always open an album with a big picture but I do not fancy that very much. don't know what to make of the fav pic yet, somehow it does not seem to work for me. as I said in the blog, if I want a pic that bad I will down load as a screensaver, Your Garden in 2002 and 2003 is really superb, some beautiful folwers you have, well take care and thanks for the info it is greatly appreciated, Ken

Hello Gladys and this is definitely the last reply for tonight - Betty is getting cranky that I have been sitting here since 6.30 typing away!! Anyway, very many thanks for writing in my Fabulous Beaches GB - I knew nothing about it until I was chatting on MSN with Ken and he told me, so it was a surprise, for sure. I hope you had a great time over Christmas with all your family - we were pleased to have all our family together in the one place for the first time in 3 years. I hope 2006 is a great, happy and peaceful year for you - keep well and we'll be in touch. All best wishes, Peter

Hi Gladys - Thanks for your kind words regarding my album. It was a total suprise when I logged into my e-mail. I've decided to 'upgrade' my membership so now I will visit more often and upload some more pics! Kind Regards, Joe

Hi Gladys - Thank you for visiting my 'Part 2' of Tasmania - I still haven't uploaded the 'good' photos which include all the historic buildings. Haven't even scratched the surface. I have viewed some of your photos and they are beautiful.

Hi Gladys. Nice pictures of your garden flowers. Your hanging pot in picture #9 is awesome. It is my favorite. Thanks for sharing and have a great day. Don
