  • Hi Luc! Your additions to this album are superb as is the whole album. Thanks so much for sharing scenes from Montreal. Wow, what a contrast in moods also, from the happy child sledding to that poor soul in the last photo. Thanks for your guestbook message in my spring album and for inquiring about how we're doing. Bob and I are doing great as "senior citizens" go; no complaints for now! We're planning a trip to Florida at the end of the month and the Orchid Show is in full swing at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. We spend so much time out taking photos that we don't spend as much time getting them into albums on Webshots. Anyway, thanks for asking and I hope you aren't getting too much snow up there and that you're staying safe and warm. Happy Thursday. Sharon

  • Bonjour Luc! Merci pour cette belle visite touristique de Montreal! La photo Sunday Afternoon on the Mt.

  • as an after thought ........if the Angel is protecting all in the city .......and you photographed the image in the same city.......... do you think that Angel or what she represents is doing a very good job?mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm food for thought?

  • "Happy New Year?" honestly makes me cry and when you took that photograph you would not have known how this image would set the tone of the beginning of 2005 for us all.........all of us stunned, 21/2million displaced ,165,000 killed ,50%of those children under the age of 15 years! My God ,would any of us ever have thought that possible?Yet your image depicts the hopelessness of poverty,of aloneness,of despair,of emptiness,of soloness .....Luc you really should enter this photograph into some sort of exhibition........it tells of what we all fear!...and as I write this dramatic entry I hear heavy breathing and then a bang ........palpatations like you've never felt before in your whole life !!!!!!!(especially helped with severe bronchitis)shaking from head to foot and there it arrives the monster ,the rabbit catcher scaring me half stupid, yes ,you guessed it ,Simba!I am now going to be the owner of only one cat as soon as I get hold of the little so and so!!!!!!!I pray that this unloved soul finds new beginnings in 2005.........the image reminds me of the magnificent song from Oliver Twist 'Where Is Love ,does it come from skies above ?'......I wonder? Bye Luc....Lynne

  • Hi Luc! Do you have all those packages and letters delivered? I can just imagine that you will be very happy come about Sunday! :-)) I love your new photos in this album--I imagine you will have more snow albums to share after this week. We are waiting and wondering if our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters will try to get to Missouri tomorrow. They had about 9 inches of snow yesterday in Louisville with lots of sleet thrown in also and I don't think Louisville, KY, is used to that much snow! I just want them to have a safe drive. Anyway, hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and lots of relaxation after the holidays. Sharon and Bob

  • Bonjour Luc! Raynald

  • Hi Luc! I love your new additions and see that you have a beautiful snow up there! My favorites of your new photos are the little children sledding. Even though I'm way too old to be sledding, whenever we get enough snow in our backyard, I get the sled out and Bob and I slide down our big hill in our backyard! Some of us just never grow up I guess!! :-)) Our granddaughters are always wishing we had snow when they come to visit, but we really don't get snow all that often here in the St. Charles/St. Louis area. So thanks for the beautiful additions, Luc, and Bob and I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Sharon

  • Hey Luc! Hope you are doing well! Thanks for thinking about me in Sharon's guestbook. I've been sorting through some of the vacation photos, but Sharon and I have had lots of relatives visit since we returned home and our car needed new tires and front end realignment after driving that Going-to-the-Sun Road several times. It is such a beautiful national park, but it sure is hard on a car!!! I bought Sharon a new computer this week, so I'll be tied up for a while getting things set up there. With the kids visiting from Ohio this weekend, it'll be next week before I can do that. Hope to get photos uploaded soon. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy viewing yours with Sharon. Have a great weekend. Bob

Michel

  • Dear Luc, I am in the process of writing a pictorial tourist book on a particular aspect of Quebec, and have contacted some literary agents in New York about the book. My husband and I are planning to come up to Montreal in the next couple of months to do more research, and I would love to meet you and see your portfolio in person. Can we arrange some kind of appointment? Thank you very much. Sincerely, Eve Siegel

  • Bonjours Luc! The abandoned lighthouse photo is so magical! I will be visiting Montreal next weekend and want to take my future wife there. How do I get there from the city? Thanks a ton.

  • Hi Luc! I love the abandoned Lighthouse photos. I bet all the snow has melted up there by now, hasn't it? We keep getting way too much rain, but I guess we'll wish we had more when it gets into the heat of the summer. Your albums are always top quality and every one of them should be featured. Keep up the good work. Bob

  • Hi Luc, Is the snow melting some up there now? Even though we never seem to enjoy shoveling the snow, it sure is beautiful to watch when it is falling and you have taken some beautiful photos of snow scenes. Thanks for sharing. Sharon

  • Hi Luc...Thanks for the comments in my Winter album. I really love to watch birds, but rarely get photos of them. I'm glad you enjoyed the ones I managed to get. This is a great start to the Montreal album. You have some beautiful scenery up there. I'm sorry it has been so cold up there. We had sleet and snow over the weekend, but nothing like what is going on out east. Thanks again for sharing your great albums. Have a great week. Bob

  • Hi, Luc...Thanks for the kind comments in my Winter album at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Thanks for starting this album on Montreal. We have never had the pleasure of visiting Montreal and I can tell from your albums that it is very beautiful up there. I love the photo of the park bench and swings. My granddaughters live in Columbus, Ohio, and just last Sunday my daughter said they were out playing in the snow. I thought they might be sledding or building a snowman, but she said they were swinging on their swing set. They have had a lot of dustings of snow there this year, but I think this was the first snow that was worth playing in. Well, thanks again and I'm looking forward to more photos in this Montreal album. Sharon
