  • All your photos just "blow my socks off". May I ask what kind of camera you use? --Jim jshaffer166@charter.net

  • Hi Jane! What an interesting album with all the details about fishing and wonderful landscapes! The covered wagon is so lovely, I like also the covered bridge, beautiful Mt.Mc Loughlin, the impressive waterfalls and rivers with beautiful rocks. My favorites: Tall Timber and Canyon! Thanks, Jane for your two guestbook entries and your thoughts for Henri. He had surgery for two ingunal hernias. He is much better now, has pills for pain. Have you real Spring now in your garden? Or still cold weather? Have a nice day! Big hugs from both of us, Kaethi

  • Hello Jane, It's always a great pleasure to visit your albums. I get everytime enthousiastic about the way you capture the world around you. The avenue of boulders is great, but on the other hand: every photo is great, so keep on shootin'. Greetings, Tjebbe

  • Hi Jane! Bob and I can't get over the difference in the Grave Creek Covered Bridge from the time we saw it and from your photos!!! It really turned out beautiful from their reconstruction work. Thanks for the guestbook entries yesterday. You guessed right about us going to the zoo. You asked about the bear standing up. It was fish feeding time and the man who feeds them can get them to stand and I was waiting with my tele to snap them standing. They all have names and they all go to the same place each day to catch their fish when he throws them. It is really fun to watch. Well, lots of hugs. Sharon

  • Hi, Jane, I forgot to mention in my last message, this is a superb pic of the fisherman with his Salmon, no wonder he looks so happy and proud, what a great catch. Also I had another look at the Heavenly vision pic. you are right, I can just makeout the monkey image on the lefthand side of the photo. Thanks. Yes Jane these are all flowers from my garden, the addtions are Primula's just coming into flower. They are so colourful and very welcome at this time of year. Thanks again for your nice comments, pleased the flowers helped to brighten your day. The weather this morning is pretty miserable, strong winds and heavy rain. Hope you had a sweet nights sleep and are fully refreshed.Great BIG MASSIVE HUGS sent with LOTS OF LOVE.Elaine.000000

Did he take those two extra steps:-))) I love that caption.:-))) your humour is fantastic. Great and informative additions to this album Jane as usual with your excellent photography. You know I really appreciate the very lovely comments you always make in my guestbooks they are so encouraging and supportive. I know you look forward and enjoy feeding the birds and animals you are so kind to them all, that's why they visit daily in such numbers on your doorstep. They certainly know whats good for them. We are in fact 8 hours in front of you Jane that's why we nearly always meet in the dark LOL. I also prefer the photography rather than the sports.MASSIVE HUGS and LOTS of LOVE.Elaine.000000 P.S. • Jane, We must have been close to where you live when we visited this bridge. We stayed for about 3 days in Medford and drove daily to Crater Lake. We also drove by to see Jackson & Perkins because I buy some of my roses from them. I thought they would have hugh gardens of roses there, but found out they mainly ship their roses from California. Surprise, surprise! Medford was a lovely city. Do you live in Medford or another smaller town around there? From Medford we drove to Bend and stayed a couple of days before heading back up to the Portland area. We covered a lot of Oregon in two weeks. We have to recover from our vacations after we get home because I cram so many sightseeing trips into a short time. Thanks again for the album on the covered bridge that is so much more beautiful than when we saw it. Talk to you later. Sharon

  • Jane, This is the same covered bridge that Sharon and I saw a few years ago when they were reworking it. We're glad to see that they got the work finished. It is beautiful now. We remember the covered wagon also. Thanks for sharing this album; we always enjoy seeing photos of Oregon. Have a great weekend. Bob

  • Jane, these are first class historical photo's excellent quality images and full of interest. The bridge is a fine example of this type of building which has obviously been well maintained, which is nice to see. The old wagon pics are great they remind me of the old western and pioneering films, which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. The weather in Southern Oregon looks really lovely after the initial fog and well worth the drive out for these fabulous pics. There are now more signs of nature waking up, and the spring bulbs appearing.I thought that was really sweet for Kama to give me one of his blinks (as they do). Please tell your daughter it was a pleasure to comment on her pet cat as he is so adorable. Thanks Jane as always for your lovely comments which I treasure and appreciate. GREAT BIG HUGS FOR YOU. Thanks once again for this really Superb album.Elaine.

  • Jane...this is a great album, even with only a few pictures in it. How many of us have actually seen a covered wagon? What an interesting set of photos. The bridge is great and glad they are preserving it for the generations to come. Barbara http://community.webshots.com/user/midnight_lace

  • I love the covered wagons! Can you imagine living in one of those for months on end? Our pioneers really had a lot of guts, don't you think! Have a great day, Jenny
