To me, this light house should be one of the 7 Wonders of The World, especially since it has lasted so long and, to top it off, being moved to the new sight without a hitch. Love what she stands for: "Let your light so shine that they may see your good works" - "A light in the dark world we live in today"!!! Of course, "the Light of the world is Jesus".

that white lighthouse is actually the Ocracoke lighthouse and not Cape Lookout lighthouse. But those pictures are great!

Great pictures of Cape Hatteras and the sound! The pictures you have titled as Cape Lookout, however, are actually Ocracoke Island light. Cape Lookout has black and white diamonds, and is located farther south - off the coast at Morehead City, NC. Wonderful shots, regardless! Krys, NC

Hi! Congrats on your featured album. I lived on Harkers Island, NC and was able to see the Cape Lookout Lighthouse everyday. The lighthouse that you have labled as Cape Lookout is NOT the Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Go to http://www.nps.gov/calo/ and you will see a picture of what it actually looks like. The design on the Cape Lookout Lighhouse is unique. Ships could tell what direction they were coming in from by whether they could see the white diamonds or the black. Otherwise, your albums are very good.
