Gidday Gladys, what a load of wonderful memories this album brings back...I worked here in the hotel for over 4 years back in '84-90...when the workers on the Island were the 'locals'...ir was among the bestest 4 years of my working life...Thank you so much for the memories...and the wonderful comments in my guest book...I have a truckload of slides from my 'Rotto' days...but the enormous cost of having them all scanned and burned to CD is just not within my means...maybe one day...LOl... The Very best of wishes and kindest regards...Gypsy...U Know where from...^_^...

Hi Gladys! We are back! Another for us interesting album: we had never seen a Quokka. You call it a friendly Quokka: is that a kind of big rat? Nice beeches and boats! thanks for sharing! Henri and Käthi

Another great album Gladys and I am gradually working my way through them all. Y'know despite living here for almost 35 years we have never been to Rotto - disgusting eh? But I have seen more of the island in these photos of yours than ever before in other media. Peter

Hi Gladys, I'm a big sook when it comes to our native animals, so the quokka gets my vote. Lovely album, as always. Thanks for your entry in my Gumnuts album. Maybe we Aussies between us should get together an album, or multiple albums, of gumnut shots from all over the country. It would be an awesome undertaking. You're right, there's so many shapes and sizes. All my shots are of trees growing close to my home here in Sydney. As for the 1 cent piece, I wasn't going to use an American one, even though more viewers would related to it. I'm a proud Aussie. Glad too that you likes my NSW album. Cheers, Keith.

Hi Gladys, I like these seashore pictures. I have always known you Aussies are very fond of boating and have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but I have yet to see any of those beautiful beaches being enjoyed by any substantial number of people. I guess you prefer your boats to your beach. I think your beautiful beach images, especially that of Rocky Bay, exemplify that. Maybe if you liked your beaches more we might have our 10-meter cup back (LOL). Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your very kind words on my Pandas album. Thank you also for your warning on my deleted profile. I had to enter a new one. I wouldn’t delete any of your comments, but you’re definitely in the minority, when it comes to the “Added: …” statement. Maybe the controversy will enhance both our G/B count. I hope you don’t get any hate mail (LOL).
