  • Great collection of a beautiful city. Your shots are outstanding and you always manage to find to tallest spot to get great shots of your cities. All are nicely composed and interesting. Great work! Marjie

  • This is one of the better albums I've seen of London on Webshots. You have a little bit of everything. Well composed shots - I noticed, you were using two different cameras. Great work! Best regards - Jim

  • Thank you for the stroll through my favourite city. I especially appreciated the photos of Tower Bridge and the view over Westminster.

  • Another beautiful album! I'm going to view all your albums that feature the places we're visiting this June. I just saw your Holland album a minute ago. Now I'm checking out London, which I find so beautiful and historic. I also appreciate the fact that you included shots showing the train stations. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful photos!

  • I loved your pictures. I stayed close to Victoria station the last time I was in London, and it was nice to see the different views of the station. Regarding the mummy at the British Museum, it was not the Swiss iceman. It is a 'body of a predynastic man. he died before 3100BC named 'Ginger' due to hair color. He has been perfectly preserved by the hot dry desert sand in which he was buried at Gebelein. His body lies curled up on its left side surrounded by black-topped red pots to contain food and drink to sustain the spirit forms released at death on their long journey through the Underworld to the Egyptian heaven. His flint knives were for use in the Other World.' [quote from British Museum and Guide Map]. I have seen it several times, it never fails to impress me - that it has been preserved for so long. Ann

  • The wonderful one of the Houses of Parliament at sunset reminds me of the Monet painting.

  • Great photos, but if you were to ask a Brit where the nearest "telephone cabin" is they would look at you like you were mad. We call them telephone boxes! And Parliament has two a's in it. Still, great photos!!

  • Great pictures! We were there last September and it was a most enjoyable trip. Always nice to see other pictures or places we may have missed.
