  • The Iberostar Paraiso/Beach resort, Mayan Riviera, Mexico is luxurious; (grounds, buildings, incredible pool)and is much nicer than Bahia Principe, in the D. R.. It's not easy to compare these resorts as there is a huge price difference between the two. Bahia Principe being much cheaper. I liked Iberostar Beach resort much more. The dark sand at Puerto Plata isn't nice either.
