The Big Sur coast is beautiful...and Ventura is past of my stomping grounds, so I love it! I also love the purple fields of lupines that you have captured! Are those fields in the Cambria/Los Osos area? I'd love to visit them! Your pictures are wonderful! Take care, Lynn

Big Sur is wonderful. Your beautiful photos are rich of suggestion: I look at the bends of the winding HW 1, and at the segulls on the beach at sunset, close my eyes and it seems to me, for a very short instant, to feel just like those great free spirits of the culture "on the road" that used to camp on those beaches decades ago... These exact beaches are where my husband and I spent some of the most romantique and soothing times of our lives ...I recommend that if you've never been ...go now ...I wish I was there...had to buy a bigger house for the kids instead....missing California from hot Texas

This is the first time I see a photo of the "Big Sur". I didn't know about the existence of such a wonderful place.
