Hi just had to comment on the sunrises and sunsets, I think my favorite is Spotlight Sunrise, just lovely. Thanks for your kind comments. The Cable Beach shot was actually taken by my friend when they were in Broom a couple of years back,(with her kind permission to use it!) The ones of Tinaroo was taken a couple of weeks ago, that is our main water supply for the Atherton Tablelands and as you can see it is way down, the lowest it has been since the Dam was built back in the fifties. We are all praying for rain here in the Tropical North!!

I love film and digital, I have a Canon EOS Elan 7E for a film camera, I still have to learn a lot more haven't had it to long. I have a Sony 1.2 digital but my zoom on it broke, I still use it for close up shots, but my husband told me befor christmas to go ahead and get the digital I wanted, I didn't go that deep, I did get a Canon EOS Digital Rebel 6.3 pixels my other lens will fit it, haven't got it programed into my computer yet, I have took a few photo's with it they look good on screen. I really have a lot to learn. oH, by the way how did you do the bird it looks so big.

I can't imagine how I missed seeing this album when it was featured a couple of years back - thought I knew all of the Aussies in Webshots community but here's you, one of the very best, and I never knew it! This is an album of the absolute highest quality that demonstrates so very well how a masterpiece is always there for the taking - providing one knows the rules of composition etc. I would like to discuss a few things with you relating to filters mainly (which, obviously, you use to great advantage) I've recently taking to using an ND instead of a Skylight - please, if you have time, advise me on other worthwhile filters to carry in my bag.
