You have some excellant photos, some rare ones (congratulations on those) and some with a bit of humor in the captions. I like all of them; they brought back several fond memories. I remember seeing that same tiny Italian built church and remember the story about it's construction. We stayed a night at the Blue Posts Hotel. We sat 15 minutes in the vehicle in the Mara, with the engine shut off waiting for a dik-dik to appear. The click of the shutter scared it off again, but we got the picture! Our elephant challenge was also at Buffalo Springs. I wonder if it is the same elephant? Was yours also blocking the road? Sorry to ramble on but, as you can imagine, looking at your photos made my day! Thank You.

Congratulations on your being featured today! Your album is really interesting. The first photo , the lion at breakfast, made me think of "When the Lion Feeds", by Wilbur Smith. That book, and the two that follow it, made me discover a new Africa I had never known before, and fascinated me. Best wishes from Italy.

I have been looking at your photos of Africa. Do you know, I started with Webshots because of a photo of a big cat I came across by accident. I have been downloading shots of big cats for 3 years! Yours are some of the best I have ever seen. Thank you for adding so much enjoyment to my hobby. Especially the cheetah! "Natural history" is a favorite subject of mine, and cats of all kinds are at the top of my list. Oh, yes, if I ever get to Africa, I will remember to stay in the vehicle! e.

the captions and "cute" explanations disgrace the countries of africa and its native people...the show comes across from "the typical american tourist"...with little appreciation or respect for current environmental and social issues there...

Hello Richard, congratulations on your safari album being featured today. Most of us snap whatever animals we chance upon when we’re out capturing nature, but that typically means rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, and crows, whereas you provided Lions, Elephants, Ostriches, Black Rhinos, and Leopards. I wish you a Merry Christmas this year and many, many photos into the future. Ed&Helen/Albuquerque
